A major challenge in Nigeria and indeed on the African continent is the relative absence of fruits and vegetables from the daily diet. This is largely due to the challenges of inadequate production, improper post-harvest handling, a dearth of post-harvest storage capacity as well as the absence of post-harvest value-addition. These factors together have discouraged increased cultivation of fruits and vegetables.
Agronet operates multiple farm locations in Oyo and Osun states employing greenhouse technology and open field cultivation processes in the production of fruits and vegetables such as Tomatoes, Sweet Peppers, Okra, Cucumber and Salad Greens. We also have partner farms producing other vegetables such as Scotch Bonnet, Habaneros, Spring Onions, and Sweet Melon etc.
We are in the process of expanding our existing farm sites and developing new ones to complete our output and expand our capacity.
